Many of those around at the time of the wag/casual conception may well not have access to a PC/internet. Obviously you do! So where'er you are, forward your comments and memories to Terrace Retro.
So, no matter where you are in the world let us know what was happening/being worn, etc, in your neck of the woods

Great, well done, your site has brought back loads of memories, especially The End (wot ever happened to those lads that produced it????:)) )
Keep up the good work, Katarino.
Hi ya there mate. I'm a bloody Kraut but LOVE LIVERPOOL F.C. WITH A TRUE SCOUSE PASSION FOR FOOTY and have been travelling to Liverpool regularly since 1985. I've just visited yer site after a lad posted yer address on the RAOTL forum, of which I'm a well-known regular. I'm pretty much into the Liverpool scene and think clothes and music are an important part of me life as a footy fan, a plassie scouser in my case.
I've seen The Farm 3 times in concert and one was in Hamburg and I met the lads playing footy by the "Grosse Freiheit" where the gig happened. Me other claim to fame is when I stood next to Hooto on a table in the winey after the last stand on the KOP, singing songs with a true Liverpool passion. Just recently, I was in the Albert for the Leeds match and it was great in there, a lot of singing and that and even some of the original Liverpool scallies were in there, Hooto again. I've read Kevin Sampson's books, Awaydays and Extra Time, brilliant read both were. I would like to get copies of the old End mags, can you help mate? I've got some copies of What's The Score, brilliant read too.
Me favourite band is ofcourse The Farm, I luv The Stone Roses, like Joy Division and other manc bands like James a lot, Northside and The Charlatans and that too.
Reading all the stuff on yer site just made me day, honest to god. I knew bits from stories I was told, but this is the bizz, the full thing. Do you also know the names of some of the Liverpool crew, past and present?
Cheers for all the info, it was fuckin brill mate and keep up with yer good work.

I'm sorry Tommy I can't help you with The End back issues thing, but if anyone can let us know and I'll provide the info. It was bad enough trying to get back issues when the fuckin thing was in print. As for names, past and present, of Liverpool's crew I believe the football intelligence unit is just as interested.
Hi,
I just had a look at your site after a mate of mine from Amsterdam put me on to it. It is very similar to one he started a few months back and then gave up on, lazy bastard claimed the weather in Amsterdam was too nice to be messing about with websites.
Anyway, it is a good site with a lot of potential.
I would love to see pieces from The End on a website and I have about 10 old copies between #5 and the last one; I think. Unfortunately they are in storage in the UK and I won't be returning until October.
Is there anywhere you can purchase old copies of The End that you know of? Do you remember The End t-shirts in different colours?
I knew Peter (Hooto) as he was a student teacher in our school in 1980 and I continually bumped into him over the next 15 yrs at matches or gigs. I actually worked with Carl from The Farm in 1981. I went to school in Maghull and knew Andy also. We saw The Farm regularly at The Left Bank Bistro in Mathew Street.
My only other comment is that "When Skies Are Grey" is as close to The End as you will get these days, but I figure the reason you haven't mentioned it is you are a red.
Nice site, it took me down memory lane.
Kevin Hazard.
Without a doubt WSAG is an excellent read and to set the record straight I'm a bluenose. I have refered to Liverpool and the 77 European Cup final as the internet is very much an international affair. LFC, Man U and Rangers have a significantly large international following as a result of global media attention. That is not to say that EFC, or for that matter any other club, do not have an international following; just not as many. As I'm sure you know, Everton were in the UEFA Cup around the time. Indeed! Anfield, Goodison and Prenton Park all played their part as the catalyst for the terrace look. I know the home section of the site has reference concerning Hillsborough and Heysel, as you hail from the banks of the Mersey you can fully understand that certain feeling of loss as a result of those tragic events. People in Yorkshire feel as such with the Valley Parade fire, or the people of Glasgow with the Ibrox disaster.
I'm not too surprised that there are no End related sites, by now they've all moved on to other things or just wouldn't be arsed. It isn't that hard throwing a site together, this time last year I didn't have a clue about the internet, one 3quid book on creating your own website later and here we are. The site was ready for uploading last summer, but one thing at a time and not forgetting the length of time you wait for the search engines to list it.
I do remember The End t-shirts and John Peel can be seen wearing his t-shirt and battered Samba when he sorts his rose bed out on a Sunday afternoon, when there's no footy going on ofcourse.
What a boss site. I sort of fell over your site and was chuffed to find someone after me own heart!
I loved the eighties and I'm a bit of a reminiscent old bastard when it comes to the memories of the time. In years to come kids will probably refer to us in the same way as we take the piss out of old people who constantly go on about the war! I had to drop you an e cos I was so pleased to find the site. I'll send you some of my memories soon.
At the minute I'm putting together a footy fanzine site in an eighties genre for those of us who appreciate those halcyon days, love the beautiful game and despise the scum! ? The stage is set around Bostock Stanley Football Club , the subject of a Nick Hancock spoof documentary. I'll let you know some more details soon.
So, what was me Satdy best for the Kop?
Craig Jones.
Sounds to me Craig that Ocean Colour Scene have had it away with your old wardrobe. Your proposed site sounds well worth a visit to me, so now that the plug is out of the way, get off your arse and get it up and running. Let me know when you have done, as I will put in a link to it.
